Hayden-William Courtland, PhD lives in New York City where he is the Head Strength Coach at Solace New York. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, a Master’s degree in Anatomy & Physiology, a PhD in Biomedical Sciences (specializing in Orthopedics), and conducted his postdoctoral fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Bone Diseases. Before making the transition to full-time coaching and health/fitness education, Hayden was was a former research scientist at the Mount Sinai Hospital and the Hospital For Special Surgery where he conducted studies examining the interplay between genetics, mechanical loading and hormones in the developing and aging skeletal system.
